Different Methods Of Solving Rubik’s Cube

Layer-by-Layer (Beginner’s Method):

Fridrich Method (CFOP):



The Fridrich Method, also known as CFOP (Cross, F2L, OLL, PLL), is a popular method used by speedcubers. It involves solving the cube in four main steps: first, solving the cross on one face, then solving the first two layers (F2L) by pairing up corner-edge pairs, followed by orienting the last layer (OLL), and finally permuting the last layer (PLL) to solve the cube.

Roux Method:


The Roux Method is an alternative to CFOP and is also used by speedcubers. It focuses on block building rather than layer-by-layer solving. It involves solving two 1×2 blocks on opposite sides of the cube, then solving the remaining three blocks simultaneously, followed by permuting the last layer.


Petrus Method



The Petrus Method is another popular speedcubing method. It involves solving a 2x2x2 block first, then building a 2x2x3 block, and finally solving the remaining pieces to complete the cube.


ZZ Method:

The ZZ Method is a method that focuses on building a 2x2x3 block before solving the rest of the cube. It involves solving the first two layers simultaneously, followed by orienting and permuting the last layer.

Advanced Techniques:
